Public Cloud Transformation Manager
Location: Oakville, Ontario

Manage the Public Cloud Transformation Team that delivers cutting edge public cloud solutions to clients.
Our Client is seeking a Public Cloud Transformation Team Manager who is eager to impact thousands of companies across North America by helping them modernize their technology solutions with our Cloud Services.
Critical objectives for this role:
- Team leadership – The Public Cloud Transformation Manager will bring a combination of people management experience, program management experience, expert-level certification or experience, and a demonstrated passion for helping improve the way teams work to deliver public cloud based solutions and operationalize new capabilities. The Public Cloud Transformation Manager will have direct reports that contribute to a broad range of client and company impacting initiatives that will activate and enable our internal service delivery teams, our clients, business development and presales. The Public Cloud Product Manager will also support the Innovation Management team with analysis required to make informed prioritization and resourcing decisions as well as estimate work stream timeframes and associated resource costs.
- Agile Client Project Delivery – Responsibilities will include: Working with the broader Public Cloud Innovation team to develop, test and continually improve an agile approach to services delivery, as well as associated business metric identification, tracking and reporting. Track and dashboard appropriate business metrics related to the delivery of advanced public cloud services.
- Continuous Improvement – The Public Cloud Transformation Manager will be responsible for maintaining a back log and work item list of client projects and sprints to be delivered to our clients.
- Mentorship – The Public Cloud Transformation Manager will invest in, and be accountable for, the growth and development of direct report technical team and the successful use of agile based service delivery methodologies. The direct report team will consist of the following roles:
- DevOps Engineers
- Cloud Architects
- Application Architects
- Agile PM/Coach
- Software/Application Developers
- Data architect
- Growth – The Public Cloud Transformation Manager will have a shared responsibility for the growth of the overall Public Cloud practice and will demonstrate this by supporting strategic New Service Introduction and Improvement activities as well as training and delivery enablement campaigns.

Desired Skills:
- Demonstrable experience with team leadership, agile concepts, program management and understanding of DevOps culture.
- People leadership and direct management experience
- Experience with business analysis, KPI identification, development, dashboarding and reporting.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Product or Program Management, application development, IT administration and or IT management, consulting, professional services and/or software engineering will be rewarded
- Demonstrated experience coaching direct reports and developing efficiency focused team work models.
- Understanding of Information collection and classification from internal business groups/leaders as well as current and prospective customers.
